Sunset Jazz

The Sunset Jazz at Court Square Concert Series, originally a pop-up event that began in 2018, is a free family friendly event hosted by Just Jazzin’.  Reminiscent of park concerts from years ago, the series is truly a treat for Memphis music fans.  The setting at the Court Square gazebo, located in the heart of downtown Memphis at N. Main and Court Avenue, offers attendees great unobstructed views of some of the finest jazz musicians that Memphis has to offer, featuring different styles of jazz, from straight ahead to swing, and more. The tall trees provide shade and the breeze coming off the Mississippi River makes this setting one of the best outdoor musical venues that the city has to offer.  If you haven’t attended one of these concerts, you owe it to yourself to grab a snack and a drink from one of the food trucks and sit down for an afternoon of great jazz entertainment.  Limited seating is available. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcomed. To add more excitement to the event, be prepared to win prizes halfway through the concert.
